Interested in attending the conference but worried about leaving your children at home?
Don’t worry IFCO 2014 are happy to offer a fun and exciting childcare programme to entertain the little ones while you network! The children’s programme aims to be a mix of fun, games, exciting day trips and an opportunity for children to play together and make new friends. It includes all meals and snacks throughout the day as well as all the costs for trips, activities and buses.
Open to children between the ages of 5 and 13, it will include a range of activities to suit the needs of all the children. This includes learning the national sport of hurling – a game of prehistoric origins which has been played by Irish people for over 3,000 years and is considered to be the world's fastest gameplay sport.
Our childcare team includes qualified childcare workers, volunteers and foster carers who will all have had their background checks so your children and young people will be in very safe and capable hands. We are also happy to announce that children and young people will be welcomed warmly at the Gala dinner which will be a family friendly event. They can dance the night away with you or we will also have an on-site chill out space where they can relax in a safe and supervised area after dinner until 11pm.
So why not bring your little ones along and/or extend your stay to take in the other local attractions that make Waterford City an ideal spot for families with children to visit.
